Family Reunion 2014 Days 4 & 5

Sunday was time to go.  We had breakfast, then we had "church" and a meeting to start planning for the next reunion in 2016.

The kids played for a bit.

And we said our goodbyes.

We were driving home, or so Isabel thought.  What she didn't know what this:

We drove to Atlanta, stopped at the Sheraton Suites Galleria and told her we were tired and spending the night.  (Free night's stay due to all my previous traveling for my company.)

Then, we presented her with a piece of paper that was her ticket to Six Flags Over Georgia for the next day!

We walked across the street to the mall, and after seeing the very long wait for The Cheesecake Factory, decided on a small, sadly empty restaurant.

The service was excellent and so was the food.  Too bad the people outside were waiting 30-50 minutes when they could have walked in and had Bison meatloaf, or burgers, or one of a bunch of other great dishes.

Bedtime for our gal

Monday, we headed to the park.

It was a fun, but exhausting day.  Iz was SO ready to be home, we decided to just drive straight through to home.  The plan was stopping in another hotel somewhere in S. Georgia for the night, but she protested and we really wanted to get home too. So at 2 .a.m., we pull into our driveway and end our whirlwind mini vacation.  Jake? He didn't want to go to the reunion, hence he also missed out on the theme park. He wasn;t really upset either.  He wants to stay home with friends, and work (barely.)
